How to improve
  • • Accuracy below 50% on any section caps your ceiling — drill fundamentals first.
  • • Focus on high-weight 655–705 difficulty questions to move the needle.
  • • Consistency beats intensity: 20 questions a day compounds fast.

How scoring works

GMAT Focus Edition scores range from 205 to 805, reported in 10-point increments. Your total is composed of equally weighted Quantitative, Verbal, and Data Insights sections. Question difficulty adapts to your performance — answering correctly moves you to harder questions with more scoring weight.

What makes a good score

For top US MBA programs, aim for 655+. M7 and T15 programs typically see admitted averages between 690 and 730. A 605 is still competitive for many solid T50–T100 programs. Use your percentile as the real benchmark.
